Delete your account in Truffle

Sign in, open Account settings, and choose Delete account. Truffle checks team ownership and billing, asks for recent passkey verification, and returns a completion receipt.

Open account settings

If you cannot sign in or resolve a team ownership issue, email privacy@truffle.tech. Never include a password, recovery code, payment number, or service credential.

What the request covers

The request covers the account record, login identities, password and passkey credentials, active device sessions, personal settings, and personal data associated with the account.

Shared team posts and files may need to remain so other members keep an accurate work record. Where deletion of a shared record would damage that record, Truffle removes or de-identifies the account attribution instead.

Team ownership and billing

If you are the owner of a team, transfer ownership to another active member before deleting your account. Truffle will not leave a team without an owner.

Cancel an active subscription and finish any pending billing action before deletion. Account settings lists each team that still needs attention.

Timing and limited retention

Self-service deletion completes in one database transaction after passkey verification and prerequisite checks. Support requests are acknowledged within two business days and targeted for completion within 30 days.

Security, fraud-prevention, billing, audit, backup, or legal records may be retained for the limited period described in the privacy notice. Retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and expire under their applicable retention schedule.
