Financial
- • Truffle holds no customer funds. All trades clear either to user self-custody (tokenized) or to named third-party escrow agents (OTC cash leg).
- • Platform fees accrue to Toadstool LLC (the operating entity d/b/a Truffle). No tokenholder, LP, or third party has a contractual share of fee revenue today.
- • Any yield earned on treasury operations (interest on operating cash, stablecoin yield on fee receivables) will be disclosed quarterly once we begin operating.
- • We do not commingle operating cash with user escrow cash. User escrow is in named escrow accounts at qualified third-party agents.
Governance
- • Truffle is a private company (Toadstool LLC, UAE limited liability company). There is no DAO, no tokenholder governance, and no third-party voting rights.
- • Material changes to smart contracts or platform fees are communicated on /changelog before activation. A 72-hour notice window is observed where technically feasible.
- • Critical security patches may bypass the notice window; a post-mortem is published within 7 days in that case.
- • No back-doored admin keys on consumer-visible contracts. Pause guardians are documented on /security and can only freeze, never transfer, user assets.
